August is that last month that Evolucity will be screening for the enRoute Film Festival. So, if you’re flying AirCanada between now and September… WATCH IT!!!
You can find it in: Movies > Canadian
My workspace is featured at about 93ish clicks, and “Evolucity” is the following feature…. then my oldie (& first ever stop-motion paper project) “Frolic” video is posted to watch.
Check it out! & be sure to check the online mag in the next 4 months for their second issue!
I finally assembled the cinema scene last night. There is so much that happens in it! Ah! But I rendered it last night and watched it this morning and thankfully I only have a list of 5 edits to complete! After which I will have to tackle the “future.” I don’t know if I have expressed how much fun I have talking about the scene the “future” as a double-entendre. For example, “I am building the future”, “I hate the future”, “the future is taking too long”… the future is actually fast approaching, and I am trying to make this project the past!
I wish I could hop into the screen and onto that airplane (its modelled after the ‘Spirit of St. Louis’) and highjack it, in a flowing scarf and goggles, all the way to a gorgeous beach with palm trees and mojitos!
Oh Gee. Things are in full swing now!! I finally feel I am making some serious progress.
Tricia sure manages to make all this paper look elegant and magical. I just hope it doesn’t rain in her little paper world!
Seeing it all come together like this is quite exciting. There are still a lot of things missing from this shot… like shadows, lights, a proper steering wheel… but these things will come!
